I’ll be up front about my life- it’s not that interesting. I never lived in an exotic place like Quebec or Australia, and I’ve never won a national spelling bee or soccer trophy. I like drawing, math, science, reading, baseball and a bunch of other random things. I didn’t like football until the last weekend of summer when I went to the bears game with Zach and his family. Mainly I like drawing and arts and crafts. I worked as an art counselor/teacher over the summer so naturally, people ask me if I want to do art if I ever decide to grow up. Once you get to know me, you’ll learn fast that there’s aboslutely no way I can see myself doing anything in art for the rest of my life. It’s just a fun talent. I really want to be a doctor. When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I was watching a tv show about a girl with a brain tumor. When she was cancer-free, she told the doctors she wanted to be a doctor so she could help kids like they helped her. Ever since then, I’ve known that my object in life is to help people. Anyway, I also like math. I’ve had the absolute longest journey trying to find myself as a math student. I love the math team above all my clubs. I’m actually a huge dork about math team. For my birthday, my mom got me a t shirt with a math joke on it that makes me genuinley laugh. Hmm.. I’ve been a cubs fan since 2003 and I don’t just mean the “oh yeah I like baseball i love cubbies!” line you get from a lot of phonies. I mean I follow the players, I love going to games, I understand everything about the game (well that’s given), and my ringtone is go cubs go. I’m obsessed. Other than that though I can’t play sports. I ran a pretty decent mile once but other than that I’m not athletic. Fun fact: One time, Zach told me it’s impossible to lick your elbow because he wanted me to try and look stupid because it’s (supposedly) impossible, but I tried to lick it and I can actually do it.
As for this blog, I’m also not a writer. I used to be. I used to be able to write poems and short stories as often as I’d like. That was in junior high. for the past three years I don’t think I’ve written one poem. Secretly, I even used to blog all my poems. I’m so into art though, poetry bores me now. This blog is going to be drawings and maybe if I’m lucky, the occasional poem. I try not to show off my drawings but I’d rather put drawings than poems.
If I think of anything else interesting I’ll be sure to post it, but for now, that’s me in a nutshell
